CPR/FIRST AID CLASSES

American Heart Association Heartsaver®

Adult CPR

 

Classes are offered the first Wednesday of every month from 6:30pm to 9:00pm.  This hands-on class is appropriate for the general public and includes practical application without a written test.  Participants will receive a signed certificate of completion at the end of class.  Emphasis is on adult CPR, however child/infant CPR can be covered upon request.

 

Fees:   Residents of the district:  No fee

              Non-Residents: $25

 

 

 

American Heart Association Heartsaver®

First Aid

 

Classes are offered quarterly on Saturdays from 9:00am to 1:00pm.  This class includes Heartsaver ADULT ONLY CPR instruction as well as basic First Aid.  Participants will receive a manual included in the cost of the class. Private classes are offered upon request.

 

Fees: Residents of the district:  $14 Schedule: February 9
  Non-Residents:  $25

American Heart Association Heartsaver®

Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR

 

Classes are offered by request for groups only.  A minimum of six students is required for a special group class.  This class is appropriate for those working in a healthcare occupation (medical clinic, dental office, etc.) and can be taught at our station or your location.  Knowledge and use of barrier devices required.

 

Fees:     Please contact us for information regarding fees or to request a class.

 

Please note all fees must be paid by check or money order on the day of class.  No prepayments and no cash payments will be accepted.  Please make checks out to: Northshore Fire Department.

 

 

If you should lose your completion card there will be a $10 replacement fee.
